In this project, I explored the idea of the corruption of power. This was a fun topic for me to explore as it could really have lead me anywhere. For this project, I created three posters that explore different ways the corruption of power could be looked at. These posters have different techniques used in them that show corruption, such as the third poster having cracking rocks that make the words Corruption Of Power, and the glitch effect making the words distorted. The first poster has an inverted image of statue that is meant to stand for justice, with a corruption of power title in the style of what could be a ransom note. The second poster has a corrupted police badge inside of the word corrupted, with a glass breaking effect behind it showing how fragile power could be. I enjoyed finding different ways to show the same thing in this project, as it has taught me there is always another perspective I could consider.
